Real estate investor Alan Schnurman and Dan’s Hamptons Media COO Eric Feil have written “I Can, I Will, I Must: Buying the Hamptons, Building a Successful Future, Becoming the Best You Can Be.”
It’s a collection of life lessons offered through real estate tips and stories about how the Hamptons was really built.
Schnurman is a broker and lawyer who founded 1-800-LAWLINE. One of Schnurman’s properties, which is now near Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s, was once owned by Paul McCartney’s former father-in-law, the art collector/entertainment lawyer Lee Eastman.
On viewing the property, Schnurman opened a closet in the smallest bedroom — only to find art by Willem de Kooning.
In his early years, Schnurman worked as a New York cabbie.
One of his customers was Walter Cronkite, who later became his neighbor in the United Nations Plaza area.
